The way broadcasting works is by initiating a Gtalk call with someone and by changing your computer's recording device from microphone to line out. To do this go to your computer's volume properties. This can be accessed by either double clicking on the small speaker icon on your taskbar next to the clock, or by going to Start menu->Programs->Entertainment->Volume Properties This is the screen you should get, it may have more controls on it
Then choose the options menu then properties
In the options screen choose the radiobutton next to recording then in the options below make sure Wave Out Mix is checked
After that click OK and you will be at a slightly differnt volume control all you have to do here is make sure Wave Out Mix is checked and Microphone in unchecked and you're done
After that's all done you just have to call whomever you want in Gtalk that you want to hear the broadcast, once they are connected hit play in whatever audio player you use. Congratulations you are now Googcasting!
