I just downloaded Google Talk and got a friend to do the same. We both have headsets that we have used on Skype. We started Google Talk and we have called each other several times trying to voice talk, but it hasn't worked yet. We see the mic and speaker icons but they do not light up. We have check microphone volume settings and the mics are not muted on the headsets or on Google Talk. Anyone else having this problem?

I tried it and it took a few seconds before it started doing something.

We've tried several times. We've kept the call open, but it just ended the call after a little while.

Try it with someone else. See who is causing the problem.

I've heard that sometimes voice calls don't work unless you try them a couple times.
